About The Allenford Archives

This site is about a small village on the Bruce Peninsula; the people who lived there and the things they loved. As a 5th generation Allenford dweller, the place I call Allenford was known first as Driftwood Crossing, and important to locals as an Indigenous ancestral trail for generations. For what is now little more than a blip on the King’s highway 21, Allenford has made its name all the same; through their residents and their tales.
